I love this course. It is a links style golf experience and its in the name. The breeze is a factor, because there are NO trees. It is wide open and a lot of fun to play. It just reopened after Katrina and is essentially brand new. They new club house is under construction and it can be a pain getting to the back 9, but rewarding when you get there. If you love military planes, you can't beat it. 15 and 16 are next to the air field.. The course is not hard at all and fun...the greens are in decent shape...a few bald spots and a few divots left behind from beginner golfers that know no better but you can't blame the course for that. The fairways are good....the rough CAN BE hard depending on where your at on the course...other than that it is a wide open course...GRIP and RIP!!!
