I have not been there in a while and it had really improved. Its a nice little course for a relaxing afternoon of golf. They have really improved their greens! The price is great for someone who wants to play golf. It is low key and you don't have to worry about driving the 90 degree rule, or staying on the cart path. Lunch was good-relaxing atmosphere. Two thumbs up!
(bad review, don't know if you want to use it....)
I've played a lot of courses, and this ranks right around the worst. The greens were unplayable as the rough and the rest of the course was in questionable shape as well. We even skipped one hole because of the amount of goose droppings -- we couldn't even walk. It's hard for me to even say you get what you pay for. The greens are un-puttable, grass so thick you can't roll a put. You have to hit puts 5 times harder than normal, probably around a 3 on a stimp meter. My backyard is in alot better shape than the fairways at Dogwood Hills. Greens are nasty with patches of weeds and grass growing on them. Don't waste your time and money to come here. Everything about this course is terrible.
