This course was one of the best I have ever played! It runs through a forest with a creek/river that runs along several holes. The course was in great shape, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is about a 20 minute drive from Gulfport, but it is well worth the trip. I'd highly recommend this course if you are in the area. one of my all time favorite places to play. I have not been there since Katrina but here all is back to better than normal. I am dying to get back. This Nicklaus Gem is like a private park through a national forest. No homes anywhere to be seen. beautiful place and beautiful track. can score here but only with great iron play and putting.
