The 18-hole "Windance" course at the Windance Country Club facility in Gulfport, Mississippi features 6,660 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.1 and it has a slope rating of 129 on ? grass. Designed by Mark McCumber, ASGCA, the Windance golf course opened in 1986. Joel Carter manages the course as the General Manager.

This championship course features over 6,600 yards of fun, challenging golf complete with breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills and lush greens. Maintaining a high quality Country Club experience for you, they have continually improved and upgraded thier course and clubhouse area. Some of the most recent improvements include redesigning itslandscaping and adding state-of-the-art drainage and irrigation systems to provide better course conditions. They have also remodeled and updated the clubhouse and pool area. It is a first-class golf facility.

The course was in fantastic shape, however, the staff and members are what made the weekend a memorable one. We hope to be back soon. I have played it many times and I have a 7 handicapp. It is not too long or too short. A variety of holes with a nice clubhouse and the people are southern friendly. Fairly priced and generally not very crowded. Other courses in Gulfport-Biloxi are coming on strong too. Other favorites are the pricey Grand Bear, Shell Landing is nice along with the Bridges at the other end....
